    For those of you directly affected by today's announcement, I want to thank you for your contribution to Microsoft and assure you that we will continue to provide support as we did during the previous job eliminations.[^] At the same time that Balmer is sending the above email to all Microsoft employees (make sure that everybody that was scared, is scared, and stays scared, eh, Steve?) Microsoft announces it intend to hire another 2000 - 3000 people. Now I don't know this, but I'll bet that the majority of that 2,000 - 3,000 folks will all have H1-B's and Gates will still show up in Washington, claiming that there just aren't any good American programmers, so please, please please no cap on the number of "Pls Hlp, Rgnt!!!" folks they can hire. Linux deserves to succeed not because Microsoft's products suck, but because its senior management does.

        Yep. And if you are on page 2 and click on 1, you don't go there. Nope - fixed, now.

          Linux deserves to succeed by its own merits.

            :thumbsup::thumbsup:

            Mike - typical white guy. The USA does have universal healthcare, but you have to pay for it. D'oh. Thomas Mann - "Tolerance becomes a crime when applied to evil." The NYT - my leftist brochure. Calling an illegal alien an “undocumented immigrant” is like calling a drug dealer an “unlicensed pharmacist”. God doesn't believe in atheists, therefore they don't exist.
