Turning into a drive-by troll, Ed? Or did you just not notice any of the responses to your last post?

So Obama is slightly worse than the worst president ever?

Chaining ourselves to the moral high ground does not make us good guys. Aside from making us easy targets, it merely makes us idiotic prisoners of our own self loathing.

It's too early to tell for sure, but he does seem to be off to a pretty good start – or bad start if you prefer.

If you were really a veteran, you'd know that the fiscal year runs 10/1 to 9/30. A president's first year is spent under the final budget of his predecessor.

Yep that really was important to know forty five years ago, in the jungles of Southeast Asia. And if you knew shit from shinola, you'd know that back then, the fiscal year ran July to June. But you don't.

Oddly enough, when I tried to look up a listing for you on military.com, there was none to be found. Whatever. The fiscal year changed in '76. My view is that those who intend to comment on government operations or government spending have a duty to know what a fiscal year is and when it runs. Otherwise, their comments contain errors or misstatements.

I'm sure that my posts from time to time do contain errors. Probably not as often as yours - Certainly, I am never stupid enough to take self-selecting polls on the Daily Kos as meaningful, nor dumb enough to look up obvious pseudonyms on Military.com. I look forward to the day when you find a error of fact in one of my posts and explain it to me. In the meantime, I suggest you spend less time on the internet. It's obvious you are beginning to mistake it for real life.

No, I looked up Jon ??? (I forget your last name; it's been a while). Your real name was either revealed in a thread a couple years ago or was in your profile until you removed it.

You are lying through your teeth. It has never been in my profile and has been revealed to only one person on this board, via email, and that not "a while ago," but quite recently. Besides, if you did know my name you would have found more than a dozen hits on military.com. I thought better of you than this kind of b.s reveals about your character.
