I'm really starting to worry about poor Nancy. We conservatives need her to stay right were she is until at least 2010. The damage she can cause to the democrat party is just too important to lose over some silly water boarding nonsense..
Chaining ourselves to the moral high ground does not make us good guys. Aside from making us easy targets, it merely makes us idiotic prisoners of our own self loathing.

Members of the House of Representatives have only 2 year terms. Those terms are up in 2010. Senators have 6 year terms, with a third of the Senators elected every 2 years. So a third of the Senators are up for election in 2010.

ROFL This morning when I heard this same news report, I though to myself: "Liar, Liar, Panties on Fire." The Dems are beggining to figure out that this sword is sharp at both ends and has no handle. They may not be quick, but they sure are slow.

Landmark Legal Foundation [^] filed freedom of information act requests to find out who attended briefings. Shortly after that threats of charges stopped on advisers to the Bush administration. I suspect they knew what was in those documents.
