Drag and drop functionality

Hi, I am working on a project in which I have to implement drag and drop functionality. My Drag and Drop should work in the following process. First we will have some controls icons in a list. If we click on the icon then the cursor should hold the control and the cursor image should turn like'+'. Now if we click on the control and select some particular area on the form or panel then the control should be displayed in the selected area size on the form or panel. My main requirement is to display the selected component on the form or panel in the selected area size on the form. That is the control size should dynamically change with the area selected. If any one know solution for this please reply me soon. Instead of controls like clock, Video playes you can explain me this using any image also. Please reply me soon. Thanks in advance.
