I can program very well. I have weak points but I am strongest with algorithms. It feels really good to develop something that can go through a chunk of data and manipulate it or output some type of analysis. My weak point is UI.

I've seen your code, remember? It is unacceptable and I would fire anyone who turned it in to me for review - and before you decide this is a personal thing - I think Ilion has written some excellent code.

Rough rule of thumb: it takes about three years of working with people who understand OOP doing production-level code before you can call yourself someone who understands object-orientation. Before you can design an object-oriented program, you need about 4 years under your belt doing OOP. Some people may do it in 6; others may take 8 or longer. But you have been working in a restaurant, not a code shop; and you sure as hell haven't been writing programs. Problem with bullshitting about your programming skills is that sooner or later someone notices if you are all hat and no cattle.

I have been studying computer science since I was 12, starting with programming for DOS. I have been doing this for 10 years dammit. I'm not some punk kid fiddling with computers in my spare time. I know damn well what I am doing, how it works, why it works, why it is that way...

Uh-huh. But the code you referred to as having been written before you knew what you were doing was written a couple of years ago. Nor have you worked with people who know what they are doing. Nor are you willing to learn from people who know more than you do.

The best guarantee of failure is not to know, or refuse to admit, what you don't know. It doesn't matter whether any other poster thinks you can program; it doesn't even matter very much whether you think you can program. The only thing that counts is what you produce that other people are willing to pay for. Unless you turn over a new leaf and figure out what a jackass you have been and start learning instead of bullshitting, you are doomed to work at MacDonalds and such places until you OD.

If you want to talk about failure and misery lets talk about your ex-wives. A pathetic looser such as yourself is destined to be lonely until your death. Nobody to take care of you in the nursing home, you will just lay there in quiet room for years all alone in dirty diaper. All of the most valuable rewards in life are lost to you. All you can do is sit at your computer and type out cryptic text for somebody else. Your only friends are on the computer. What a lonely soar 3 times looser. :(( There there now, think about what their current REAL men do to your poor little ex-wives at night.

One of the things you will learn if you grow up is that growing old sure beats the alternative.

ROFL. If I were to devote a minute or two to thinking about every woman I left behind or who left me, I wouldn't have time left in the day to do anything else. So I'll leave fantasizing about sex to the virgins like you.

Hurt me? That women I went to bed with are still enjoying themselves? Why would that hurt me? May the lord bless 'em, I hope they're getting laid nightly and screaming their heads off when they cum. But y'know, even if I was upset about growing old or having ex's it would simply mean that I have lived a long and interesting life. It wouldn't mean you were a better programmer; it wouldn't mean you are destined for anything but a relatively short and unhappy existence filled with the kind of failures you have already experienced. It wouldn't even mean you had a better shot at having Nazi girl show you her pussy.

Ordered by Congress to "buy American" when spending money from the $787 billion stimulus package, the town of Peru, Ind., stunned its Canadian supplier by rejecting sewage pumps made outside of Toronto. After a Navy official spotted Canadian pipe fittings in a construction project at Camp Pendleton, Calif., they were hauled out of the ground and replaced with American versions[^] I would love to see "free market globalism" trashed for good. Governments should have the authority to regulate what and how much goes through the borders with the objective of keeping the economy in its domain up with a diverse market.

It would seem that you only like the idea when its applied one way - in favour of the US, when these protectionisms are applied which cut off market for US goods and services then suddenly it seem that it isnt such a good idea. Do you rearly want to get into a world wide trade war?

Yes, because when goods are cut off the the USA then suddenly there is a big market for those goods in the USA for the USA to be made by the USA.

Then please start one, as the US is still a net exporter (at least to the EU) the biggest loser would be the US. Another effect of such limitations would be a stagnation of development, another little factor for you to look forward to.
