If you're in a mad max scenario and show up at bartertown, do you think you'll get more for 2 lbs of coffee or 2 lbs of cocaine?

I heard that Aunty Entity would kill for a double latte. But strictly from the viewpoint of a consumer, I would pick the coffee.

Okay, after Armageddon, I'll trade you two lbs of freeze-dried for two pounds of coke.

Sonny, I first heard about the Bilderberg Club while you were still investigating your diapers. You really need to spend less time searching out the aluminum foil blogs, and more time looking for work. And while in some situations the Club could become even more powerful than it already is, Armageddon isn't one of them, I suggest you try dictionary.com before using the word again.

I don't like the current administration, but in the 30's the Roosevelt administration confiscated gold when it was discovered that people were trading gold instead of US currency. The only exception was gold US currency. However one still has the option of buying I bonds and since we are on the cusp of hyper-inflation one can invest in overseas markets, for govi's that's the I fund, but there are also overseas stocks and precious metal SPDR's that one can invest in. I'm not well to do so take what I say with a grain of salt but I'm not poor either. 2 cents, for what it's worth.
