Wendy Sullivan on the "Cyber-bully" bill: Rep. Linda Sanchez's cyberbullying legislation[^]

... The Internet is a place that bullies feel comfortable being bullies because they can remain anonymous. In the same vein, us nice, normal folk have that same advantage. We don't have to spill our guts to perfect strangers in cyberspace. They never have to know that we're fat, or black, or poor, or crippled, or ugly. If they are bullying us for these things, it's because we put ourselves out there for them to pick apart. Unlike the schoolyard, Megan Meier wasn't forced to go to MySpace. She didn't have to spark up a conversation with a fake boy. And when things began to go pear-shaped, she didn't have to kill herself. Megan Meier opted out of life, instead of opting out of the Internet.

And, of course, such bills really aren't about protecting anyone. They're about asserting power over the citizens.

You believe this crap ? You're on an ignorant roll tonight. The weak should know better than to go out amongst the strong, they should just not feel bad if they get picked on, accept it's their lot, and sit at home in the dark ?

You're a willfully and deliberately ignorant fool. Until you decide to stop constantly demonstrating that trait, telling you that simple truth is pretty much the extent of anything I have to say to you.

Tautology. For one who prides himself so greatly on writing, you sure make a tonne of dumbass errors.

An extremely pompous explanation of why you have little to say to him? Phh. Any half-way decent writer will tell you - the uninformed - that shorter is almost always better. Fatass.

Ignorant. For a twit who likes to assert that he's so vastly more intelligent and knowledgeable than I, you sure do have a remarkable habit of displaying a ton of dumbassity. The phrase 'willfully and deliberately' is not a tautology, it's a redundancy.

Hey, I have three good friends who are mentally handicapped. They're so much fun, I love talking to them - better than those other 'normal' jerks... :suss:

No, Troy. he described you perfectly. You don't have the balls or the brain to get into a real discussion with anyone. You're just a pathetic little troll, begging for attention and willing to do anything to earn our contempt to get it.
