I'm way out of touch with Indiana politics, having not lived there since 1982. Neverhteless -- Text of Governor Daniels' Budget Address[^]

Brief, honest, and to the point. Are we sure he is not an alien masquerading as the governor?

Knowing that education is heavily unionized (NEA) and that union is interstate, I would not have raised education budget, maybe discussed tax incentives for home and private schooling. I would like to have heard how Indiana is addressing illegal immigration drain on government resources. ID to receive WIC, or send your kid to school.

You forgot to ask for egg in your beer, too. ;)

other than we've some pretty good Mexian restaurants, we're not - much to my chagrin.

Mike - typical white guy. The USA does have universal healthcare, but you have to pay for it. D'oh. Thomas Mann - "Tolerance becomes a crime when applied to evil." The NYT - my leftist brochure. Calling an illegal alien an “undocumented immigrant” is like calling a drug dealer an “unlicensed pharmacist”. God doesn't believe in atheists, therefore they don't exist.

Give me their names. I may post a classified in a couple of the papers, assuring folks that home-coooked meals are readily available up there. ;)
