Good question; let me help you answer that question with some examples from the international book of conservative code 1) Conservatives in Muslim majority countries believe Christians are dangerous Marxists. 2) Conservatives in a Hindu majority country believe Christians and Muslims are dangerous Marxists. 3) Conservatives in a Buddhist majority country believe Christians, Hindus and Muslims are dangerous Marxists. 4) Conservatives in the US believe Muslims are dangerous Marxists. I am not sure of their views on Hindu, Buddhist, Moonie and Wicca. It's probably the same. Now, don't tell me these guys are intelligent.

I don't understand your statement, but I'm new to this religious racial algerbra; and I'm still trying to get my arm's around this new racial/religious math introduced by the nomination Sotomayor to the supreme court. But I'd like to point out that Karl Marx was and anti-semite. Not sure if this helps in your complex racial/relious calculations but maybe it will help? from wikipedia Some commentators, like Bernard Lewis, Edward H. Flannery and Hyam Maccoby, have seen Marx's On The Jewish Question as an antisemitic work, and identify antisemitic epithets in his published and private writings.[49][50] According to them, Marx regarded Jews as the embodiment of capitalism and the creators of its evils. [51] In their view, Marx's equation of Judaism with capitalism, together with his pronouncements on Jews, strongly influenced socialist movements and shaped their attitudes and policies toward the Jews. In these scholars' opinions, Marx's On the Jewish Question influenced Nazism, as well as Soviet and Arab anti-Semites.[52][53][54] Albert Lindemann and Hyam Maccoby have suggested that Marx was embarrassed by his Jewish background.[55][56

Hmm, as a conservative Christian American I can say that I've never heard anybody suggest any Muslim state was Marxist. Most are just autocratic oligarchies. I will have to take your word for it that Muslim countries think Christians are Marxist, but the rest of your assertions I reject. And if you are correct that Muslim countries think Christians are Marxists, I would say that that suggests that they know next to nothing about Christians or Marxists.

Good point. My first thought was, I don't think such a study could be done without a political agenda. They're looking for bright spots with a flashlight. Gee, I wonder what a conservative study on Liberal Syndrome would uncover.

I don't care for the politicizing of this myself. What I would have really liked to see correlated is their school districts and their typical diet. School districts for obvious reasons and I have no doubt that improper nutrition relates to reduced cognitive ability.

From the descriptions I've heard of these tests it seem reasonable to me that cognitive rigidity could certainly lead to lower scores.

Well said. But I'm sure you agree that we've seen as many examples of cognitive rigidity on the left as on the right. There are a number of right-wingers who need to set up a stringent set of rules about behavior because they are afraid to think for themselves - or to believe that anyone else could think for themselves. Equally, there are many left-winders eager to prescribe all of the requirements to be followed in order to be considered civilized. The idea that they are wrong or at least not have a monopoly on the truth does not occur to them, cannot occur to them without threatening their sense of self.

Oh sure, I agree with your entire statement. And, as I said to bones above, I don't like things like this being politicized.

In all fairness I must add this also. 5) Conservatives in a Marxist state believe that anyone who believes in God is a dangerous radical :-D

Now that really would be interesting. But I'm afraid that truth about diet is a little too much truth than America can handle. Evidenced by the myriad get-thin-quick schemes on late night infomercials. Not to turn it political, but we seem to be avoiding all the issues that directly related to health care and instead have decided to completely change health care itself. Seems to me that more education on diet and other strategies for making the population healthier would be a huge step in the right direction. As well as dealing with immigration, and some other issues that most don't seem to realize directly effects health care.

OK, now I've seen one. I stand, not corrected, but now changed... I've heard virtually nobody ever suggest that Muslim nations are Marxist. Better?

Again I'll have to take your word for it. I have no idea what conservative Russians, Chinese, Vietnamese, etc think. If pressed for a guess I'd say they probably spend all day thinking "don't say anything that will get me killed!".

No, I assumed it was a joke. I've seen enough of your posts to know that you're not stupid. It just didn't make any sense to me. Forgive me for playing joke critic, which is hardly ever constructive.
