McDonald's employs people that are at least fourteen. I don't think they expect a high school diploma from them.

In the US, because they don't have the sort of protection for workers that we have, people at McDonalds are usually older, it's just another dead end, low pay job for illegal immigrants.

Ah, OK. Well, at least it IS a job for illegal immigrants, right? I was only talking about in Australia, and I wouldn't work there anyway, although not because I consider it 'below me' or anything. I'm just lazy. ;P

That's all right. It's nice to talk to you as opposed to Josh or Stan. I've never been out of Australia, and I've certainly never worked out of Australia (or in it).

Only if those millions of people are completely isolated, like in North Korea. Otherwise it's impossible on that sort of scale.

It is. You have got a lot to learn. You can study math and science all you want, but that wont make you wise.

Well, you have to at least acknowledge that overpopulation and resource depletion are major problems.

Yeah, sure. People have been banging on about the population scare for decades. And the crisis just seems to never happen. As for resources, when the earth runs out we'll go find it on another planet. And if you think thats unlikely you are thinking like the people who told Collumbus he would sail off the edge of the world.
