Has anyone here worked with any of the open source CMS's besides DNN? I need to set one up and DNN has become elephantine in its attempt to be all things to all people. I've looked at Joomla and Mambo, but have no idea of the quality. The site can operate on whatever OS I need it to, so that is not a consideration.

Unlike your boss, acornboy used a real world. Elephantine means exactly what you think - huge fat & bloated [qv Ilion]

mojoPortal worked quite well for me for my small site last year. I stopped because my host lost .NET 3 and 3.5 support, not because I didn't like it.

If CMS is content management system then; There is a free version of u$ Sharepoint[^] WSS that lacks many of the features of the full product MOSS. It may be of some use. It was not hard to install or manage. The above link also mentions some competitors to Sharepoint.
