Ah, a nice, benign post for once. As to my answer, no, i don't know my CP ID; possibly i'd be able to hazard a guess if i hadn't been out drinking all night (one of my house mates turned 21; it was a fun evening 'till the cops showed up...), but with my head currently stuffed full of what seems to be cotten and nails, i'm waaay off... :-O Shog9 ------ If you really what to get shitfacde tell a crowded bar that is is yourt borthday and hife your wallet. you ka will many more friends.

I think it is more to do with the area - being the simple country folk wot we are with our barn dances and and all that the police don't need to bother. ;P

That might not be as ridiculous as it sounds. When I used to live in a city (albeit a small city), there was police involvement in parties and lock-ins every time. What, and waste all that drink?! :rolleyes: Apparently the extensive drainage system that ran from the main pub buildings to the river was only able to withstand significantly less than 20T (it was a listed 1200 AD building which explains why - building requirments must have been less back then if they had them at all). The lorry was reversing into the docking bay and for some reason on that particular day the pipes decided they were going to collapse and took much of the surface of the carpark and the lorry with it. I have never been in a measuarable earthquake - thankfully - but I imagine the damage we suffered was much like that that happens when the ground liquifies: the lorry, carpark and all slid many feet towards the river! No-one was hurt seriously, luckily, though the driver was in shock when the ambulance arrived. It was damned lucky it didn't take the main kitchen structure with it (it was next to the docking bay). After that the entire carpark was taken away to carpark heaven and a new drainage system was laid out and the surface relaid.

I was at one last year in one of my mates houses... a very, very , vyer big party... in one of the student villages... about 4 houses had a party together.. about 2 hundread drunken students wandering around between the houses.. not causing any trouble.. .just moving from house to house... The Gardaí [Irish version of the Police] arrived around 2 and decided to "end" the party.. so What did they do??? They just made everybody leave the houses and they then left.. so they basically threw 200 drunken students onto the streets...
