I've got too, but haven't tried yet. Also for my needs (local database distributed with an Win32 application) it was too expensive and with royalties. Pavel Sonork 100.15206

Yes, I've used it quite a bit in the past. It's getting better now; you don't really even need to know the MUMPS programming language anymore to use it for most things.

How can I find this? Is there a Windows version? Which is the difference in relation to Caché Database?

I am looking for a practical, robust, little, revolutionary and fast database. Some articles say that Caché will be a serious alternative in the future but I have some doubts if I see that there are strong competitors such as Oracle, DB2, SQL server, etc. What is your opinion?

Cache is robust, revolutionary and fast. It is not yet practical because of licensing costs and its proprietary nature. As far as size, it is about the same as SQL Server when all is said and done. I think it is a very good database, but I wonder about longevity. Two or three years from now, Oracle and DB2 and SQL Server will probably still be here and will be widely known and supported. Will Cache?
