What is the deal with the Nigeria bank scam??

I get at least 4 or 5 of these a day. Has someone written a virus that includes the scam, or are there just a lot of really, really stupid spammers? On that topic I just received 78 (count 'em!) copies of the same spam from the same address. :mad: cheers, Chris Maunder

That scam is quite succesful, and when you are onto a good thing why stop? Apparently they have about a hundred cases of this a year, that means 100 daft people bought the scam.
