I feel so free...

I didn't have time for 30 minute video, just watched a few minutes of each scene. Observations My mommy always told me to treat people with firearms with respect, police and agents of the government especially. There is no 'normal' person that would go out of his way to confront police armed with AR-15's, and his "church service" reminded me of excerpts from some of Reverend Wright's. His service had nothing to do with G-d but to espouse some strange weird and divisive doctrine relating to his confrontations. There was discussion in soapbox recently asking why police are arming themselves with AR-15's, the consensus was it is to address gang violence in certain cities from illegal immigration. Perhaps it would be safer for police and population that immigration law was enforced at border rather than 'up' arm law enforcement officers. 2 cents.
Exactly - the people complaining about loss of freedom, probably still have more of it than is good for society as a whole.

It can be exhausting and it even causes me vision problems for some reason. - CaptainSeeSharp

I'm happy that there are people like that out their who will stand up to tyranny, it makes me proud that there are still true Americans out there who won't tolerate tyrants and the loss of liberty and rights.

So you think. You are a textbook example of a modern idiot who will allow their government to completely take over everyone's life until they are nothing but mindless slaves. X|

I have nothing to hide. Why should any government be interested in me, out of the entire population of the planet? Assuming that there are people watching me at every turn is the height of arrogance. I am not remotely interesting in the grand scheme of things. I doubt any one person here is

I don't know, they have cameras everywhere so there must be some reason. It ain't just you, its all your peers and neighbors, its everyone. You are all criminals. It is a matter of principle. Everyone has something to hide. They do watch you though they wont single you out unless you have a funny look on your face or a shirt that says what you believe in. Once they upgrade their systems to support facial recognition and tie into the national databases they will be able to pull up a map and trace your rout in any particular date and time they choose. I prefer not to be under surveillance, but I am just a weirdo. Quite frankly I think it is a real life nightmare.

So a government for no known reason, is monitoring the populace. If that were true, there would be proof - and real proof, not just grainy YouTube videos and blogs written by the paranoid. Speaking of which, if that's true, why are the blogs still there? Shouldn't they be gone by now, or filtered intensely?

Unlikely. In the UK, criminals have their fingerprints, photos' et al on record. I don't, and last time the government tried there was a large furore in the media and the government backed down

You're absolutely right! Let's let everybody in the UK, no matter what they believe! Because that won't lead to terrorism at all! Everything will be perfect! Tolerance will abound!</sarcasm> At a certain level, surveillance is necessary. Would you happily step on a tube train in London on July 8th, knowing that anybody could be on the train with you and that there was no surveillance which could have potentially weeded out copycat strikes?

Not true. There are areas with no CCTV. As such the route (not rout, that's got a different meaning) would be shaky and wouldn't stand up in a court of law

Most people do. However the world is not all a bed of roses; there are people who would happily butcher you in your sleep based on your skin colour. I would rather people be watched and relatively safe, than free to do what they please to whom they please

What a good slave you make.
Funny, the disenfranchised and socially outcast people on this forum, keep assuming I am some sort of slave. I travel the world, I work from home, set my own hours, make good money, and basically live the life I want to. I flew in to MN on the weekend, to be front row for a concert. I don't feel like a slave at all. I am, of course, by choice 'enslaved' by the standards of society. I work, I treat others fairly. I guess those with less decency, or less to offer society, would be more worried about their supposed 'freedom', because they are already under pressure, because of their lack of value to society.

How do you feel about those carbon cops searching homes and businesses in your country now? Surely you have heard about them in the news.

I have no idea what you're talking about. Do you have a link to a *credible* news source, or a grainy you tube video ? I just googled and there's a TV show called 'carbon cops', where people INVITE these folks into their homes, surely that's not what you mean ?

OK, so, this is saying that people who try to earn carbon credits, can be investigated if it seems their claim is bogus. I think the whole carbon trade thing is dumb, but it makes sense that if money is used as an incentive, people will try to rip it off, and the police will enforce it. Why would I care ?
