I was thinking about the comment below about TV making people dumb. I agree with this. The internet is worse. CSS is the prime example of this. He grabs every conspiracy theory he can find, naturally can find websites that support his views, which he reads uncritically, and any opposing view on the web is dismissed, any opposing view in a forum is dismissed with insults, the canned sequence he throws out every time we get to a point where he has no more answers for the things I have said, which typically prove that his beliefs are a farce. The Internet lets people create their own reality, validate it by preferring sources suffering the same delusion, and simply cut out any sort of opposing viewpoint. It is a great tool for smart people, and a way for dumb people to get dumber.

Some people have discretion and the ability to weigh issues and look at both sides. Some do not, they spout the same rubbish they read, and have closed minds. (btw man never landed on the moon, I read it on a website)

Exactly. The internet robs these nut jobs of at least having the feeling they are alone. They are not, there's a handful here and there, and the internet lets them congregate, read each others websites, and feel like they must be right after all

Well, given that CSS is against any form of sex education, you have to hope we at least have that in our favour.
