He whose name begins with a 'C', called you out for joining an organisation that 'believes yourselves above the world'. From one believer (I don't need a lodge to convince me of this :) ), but as an educated and interested man, what has been your opinion of joining this elite club? Have you been initiated? What degree have you attained? How many puppies did you have to kill?

From one believer (I don't need a lodge to convince me of this :) ), but as an educated and interested man, what has been your opinion of joining this elite club? Have you been initiated? I am a potential candidate. I have been approached by a friend who has asked if I would like to join, and indicated my interest. I now have to prove myself a worthy candidate, ie. Of Good Character, Financially stable, of High Intelligence and Education, Morally Sound, and capable of showing the required loyalty and security consciousness. The puppies need not be injured, but there are things I must do. (These are mainly ceremonial and initiative in nature). I am hoping to hear soon, then I have to be a novice member for a period before being fully initiated. As for why, well, why not, it is a form of networking in a business oriented world, and of course, allows me to garner information that may aid me in my career. I am not rich enough to retire, so I may as well work better and smarter!
