We are a software vendor that produces a small/lite Win32 client-server database application. Developed in PowerBuilder. Uses SQL Server as a database. Not sure if this is the proper forum for this, but... Our customers usually host the application and database on their own, but recently we got customers where we are hosting the database and application for them. We’re using a hosting provider that provides us the ability to host the database and application. We then deploy the application using Terminal Services technology on the server to the customers that need to access it. Now that we want to grow it, we realize we need to do additional things. Mostly, in regards to having multiple customers on the same TS box/domain. But we don't want to have to learn or deal with the work of doing this, we'd rather hire someone to do it. I know I can web-search for companies that can do this, but I'm hoping for any recommendations? What I'm looking for the person to do: Go into the box i'm currently paying to be hosted and setup the following: 1) a domain 2) properly publish my win32 app as a T/S published application (usinge REmoteApp, etc) 3) Lock down security on the server so users can't access the C drive, etc (only their temp and "my documents" folder) 4) Properly help me setup the users/licenses for T/S 5) Properly make it so the printers are detected on the T/S session. 6) Lock down security so users can't access the desktop, only my application. And any other best practices for what I'm trying to do.
