      I am not sure excactly what you're trying to accomplish? You can use Share Point Designer or a content deployment job to deploy content pages Depending on the the task when I display SQL data I just embed a data grid view with a SPS site. I hope that helps.

          In MOSS2007 , you can directly create an sub-web in IIS and deploy the site in that IIS. However, please be remind that using that approach, you will not get benefit of SharePoint security model.
