Christian is seeing Slayer and Megadeth at this very moment in Melborne. I saw them last night in Sydney. Awesome.

I don't speak Idiot - please talk slowly and clearly I don't know what all the fuss is about with America getting it's first black president. Zimbabwe's had one for years and he's sh*t. - Percy Drake , Shrewsbury Driven to the arms of Heineken by the wife

Reading now. Slayer concert was a wash, his voice was shot so they played without vocals, basically.

Did Tom sing that night ? He literally didn't sing in Melbourne. Well, he sang the odd chorus. We left. apparently they got people in the audience to sing. Megadeth was killer. On another front, I went to the outdoor merch stand and was told I had to queue twice, one for each band. And the Megadeth people didn't have eftpos. I didn't get Slayer merch. Inside it looked like there was more, but we couldn't get to that area. I asked and was told I could buy it outside, but the Megadeth people had packed up just after I bought my T and never came back, so for people in my section, most of them were unable to by Megadeth merch. Talk about a debacle.

Yes. Slayer were great, but then I would think that if they propped up corpses and played a CD. Megadeth played everything I wanted to here and I was satisfied. What I hated was that the gig was at the Hordern, and I despise the place. Got in and out as fast as we could. Weather was crap and I've still got my T-Shirt from way back when so... :|

                  It was close to that.

Fil, who I was with, thought they didn't play anything from So far... so good, which is my favourite, so I was rapt when they started with Set the world on fire. I'd love to hear Trust live, but I know I never will. Countdown would also be cool, but I was satisfied with what they did.

The gig in Melbourne was at Festival hall, like I said. They also wouldn't let me wear in a leather wrist cuff with studs on it. It's SLAYER, of course people wear that stuff. Idiots.

A pub here at a casino in Joburg wouldn't let me in carrying a motorbike helmet, and there wasn't even a mosh pit. :omg:

The article was great. Describes my current use of thrash and death metal.
