Alright moron, I am done with you. I know people that were in humvees on patrol when a kid paid $5US threw a grenade into the back. How do they know this? When the docs at the civilian hospital got the kid with a bullet in his gut they asked him. Some men offered him the money to throw the grenade at the people and he took it. It cost him a foot and a half of small intestine. He was lucky. It cost a soldier an eye, and the guy that was throwing it out when it went off his arm and destroyed a good part of his leg. One of those soldiers shot the kid without thinking because they registered that the grenade was thrown by him so he was suddenly an enemy. That same guy committed suicide a year later because the kid had died of complications. What the eff do you know about illegal orders? You get put into a situation where you take someone in, arrest them, and they explode killing your buddy. Where you take prisoners and they come back a month later killing more buddies and it doesn't stop what do you think happens? You stop taking prisoners. If every time you open a door it has a booby trap you are going to stop kicking those doors open and just shoot through it. If there happens to be an innocent family behind the door this time, well, that sucked, didn't it? Now you have this guilt eating away at you and when you get home suicide is a lot more likely. This is what those people put themselves into. How about you "captain?" You believe the constitution needs to be saved? How about you put a uniform on and go defend it? How about you put your life and sanity at risk instead of calling people that did put their time in? Honorable soldiers are what we all strive to be. Reality happens to kick you in the nuts then sodomize you for trying to be. Put a soldier in the line of fire and they do what they are trained to do, survive, fight, kill. We hesitate, people die and it may not even be us, it could be the guy that ran through fire last month to yank our asses out of a position after we were wounded. None of us want to cause our friends to die, so we make calls that may not be considered legal in a vaccum. But we do it to survive. You want to tell everyone how horrible the politicians and people making orders at the top are, fine. You want to tell people the soldiers are dishonorable, fine, you have that right. THEY DIED LETTING YOU HAVE IT. But do not think for a moment that you deserve to be considered their equal. These men and women have lost pieces of their souls and sometim

...and another thing. If you go around expecting "civilians" to worship you then you will get the exact opposite. And when you are on the streets of America ordering around us peon civilians acting like you are their god, you will dearly regret that you decided to become the enemy of America. Just check out the Oath Keepers, they aren't my organization, they are yours. You will find like minded people and talk about your experiences together.

How stupid are you? I was referring to a random militia which proves itself to be a threat to civilians at large during an emergency. Most likely due to the massive incompetence of those who feel the need to form a militia, or the political theme of that given militia. Citizen or not, any one loosely competent would disarm the idiots before they hurt anyone once a real problem crops up. Which you wouldn't, because you swear an oath which is based on many faulty assumptions. If you were to ever serve the nation. I choose not to because I'm a massive pain in the ass who would not work terribly well in the military, that and I had better alternatives. How about you Mr. Patriot, why aren't you doing your duty and upholding this oath as an armed serviceman? I am an American, an no matter how much you may pretend otherwise I have just as much of a claim to it as you do.

You are a fucking moron. The militia are the citizens. Get educated. There are over 90 million gun owners in America, they ARE the militia. Again, you are not an American.

And as a note, they aren't 'the militia' Those who actually stand and fight when the need arises are 'the militia' in my mind. That said, 'a militia' is generally composed of posturing idiots who want to play with guns. There's a significant difference in these terms you seem to miss.

You're aware there are random militia groups in this nation which are formed on political foundations which could easily turn them against civilians, correct?

No, but given he's actually served, he deserves the basic respect anyone who doesn't attempt to exploit the situation for political gain deserves(Sorry, I lose my respect for anyone who tries to wrangle 'I served' into 'war hero' for politics). Which is a lot more than you deserve for spouting off this kind of crap.

I don't even care about respect for me. I care about it for the ones that got mangled by the system trying to make the world a little better and haven't gotten any justice about it. There are vets out there missing pieces, others with lifelong damage and a bunch of them have been discarded by society and the military. CSS equates trying to get these people their due as if it was worship, which shows how sad he is. I'm not a war hero. I got out before W was sworn in and I was quite happy I wouldn't have to put my wife into a situation where she might get a visit from some men in Army Dress while my son asks if one of them is his daddy. But I had a friend who's wife got that visit and another who got her husband back missing parts. And I will be damned if I let some pathtic little coward act as if they are not deserving of our respect. Thank you for understanding.

Oh come now, I am sure when the Patriot Act was being signed he was in the Lobby of Congress waving a petition or something like that. Because he was so upset over our rights being taken away he OBVIOUSLY did something. That or posting videos from YouTube counts as doing more for this nation than losing body parts when called up. /endsarcasm
