The ADL has launched a new purge against its political enemies in the form of a major report that equates skepticism and distrust of government with “a toxic atmosphere of rage,” which is threatening to boil over in the form of violence, specifically targeting Alex Jones as “The Conspiracy King” and inferring that people upset with Barack Obama’s policies are potential mass murderers. The tone of the ADL’s hit piece basically implies that Alex Jones and his ilk are such a threat to the establishment that they should be removed from society, which ironically is exactly how Hitler dealt with his political enemies in Nazi Germany. The ADL is allegorically pinning a yellow star on “conspiracy theorists,” Oath Keepers, Tea Party protesters, and anyone else who dares express dissent in response to the financial looting of the country or Barack Obama’s big government agenda. And what does the ADL consider to be the criteria for those it claims are intent on carnage and bloodshed in the vein of cop killer Richard Poplawski? A belief that, “There is a conspiracy by malevolent globalists to take over the world and institute a “New World Order”. So essentially by pointing out the fact that UN Secretary General Ban Ki-moon writes op-eds for the New York Times calling for “global governance,” and highlighting the hundreds of mainstream news reports about the move towards world government and a one world currency which are published every single day, makes one a dangerous extremist and a crackpot according to the ADL. Another insane fringe belief according to the ADL is the notion that, “Conspiratorial figures such as “international bankers” and entities ranging from the Federal Reserve to the Council on Foreign Relations to the Bilderberg Group are engaged in a variety of strategies to take over (or extend their hold over) the government and to strip Americans of their rights.” That’s right, believing that powerful secretive groups which meet in secret, groups composed of the most influential power brokers on the planet, might talk about ways to expand their power to the detriment of the American people is another “fringe” belief suggesting the individual harboring such thoughts is intent on mass murder. Alex Jones is a wingnut. Listening to him is a form of entertainment, all be it a bad form. The article is very interesting in how in breaks up and almost chronicles the attitude going on in the country right now in politics. I've pretty much stopped watching TV because of people like Beck and the Fake News Channel. People like CSS and Illion want to feel special by telling us all this stuff that isn't true. The hero off to save us all. Don't kill the messenger they say. The only difference between the two of them that I see is Illion is quite as belligerent and extreme as CSS when it comes to conspiracy theories. TV was always best used for educational use. Discovery and History Channel are my favorites ;P .

Its hardly factual. Read the reply that I originally posted.

Did you even read the actual article? Your little AJ post basically boils down to, "These guys don't agree with us, and they're talking about us, so they must be part of the evil conspiracy!" The article states facts. It lists the beliefs of the AJists (And others), and theorizes that these movements MAY lead to violence. It then cites one incident that bordered on violence, and one that led to the deaths of several policemen. If you want to debate this article, why don't you quote from the actual article, instead of quoting your buddy Alex's spin on it. Here's that link again, in case you can't find it in my previous post: Main Article[^] Sub-Section on Alex Jones[^] Sub-Section on the Oath Keepers[^]

Nah, I stick with HBO and Sci-Fi (Which inexplicably calls itself "SyFy" now)... The less realistic, the better. I get my news from the web, from as many different sources as possible.

I read the article. It is a total smear campaign and nothing more. it attacks any American who doesn't like whats going on in this country by calling them dangerous, violent, racist, crazy, extreme, and delusional. Bullshit on that. Fuck you and your subversive buddies.

Generally speaking, pick any two and you have someone referred to by the article.

This is what's got me concerned with the current bend in politics right now and media. JFK was killed rather easily by some wack job and Obama could just as easily. It only takes one wing nut to come loose to do it.
