An astounding exchange took place in the European Union Parliament earlier this week when MEP Nigel Farage was reprimanded for daring to expose the fact that the EU is an authoritarian dictatorship ruled by unelected bureaucrats to the detriment of national sovereignty. Farage effectively broke a tyrannical 1999 law that states it is illegal to criticize the EU. [^] Listen to the rant Farage was punished for. Farage reprimanded for criticising new EU foreign minister: "certain expressions not acceptable"[^]

Given Nigel Farage's background this is about as astonishing as passing wind. He is merely putting his points to the European Parliament, and the President felt he had overstepped the mark in terms of his language. This sort of thing happens every day in Europe.

Present leader UKIP but recently resigned his leadership. UKIP is awaiting a new leader to take over. Remember CP member Matthew Faithful (whatever happened to him?) he is a member of that political party and just like you Henize, he was heavily into conspiracy theories. And dear Nigel is not afraid to make it known how much he despises the European Union. An exercise for you Henize is to find out what UKIP is and stands for, then you might be qualified to pass comment on what they get up to and what they want. There may be question later to assess your knowledge. At the moment, I rather suspect that you haven't got a clue. But then, that is not surprising is it?

And not forgetting that all those Pizzas need delivering.

------------------------------------ In science, 'fact' can only mean 'confirmed to such a degree that it would be perverse to withhold provisional assent.' I suppose that apples might start to rise tomorrow, but the possibility does not merit equal time in physics classrooms. Stephen J Gould
