According to Wikipedia[^] the cruising speed of a Boeing 737 is 485 mph (that's 780 km/h for anyone outside of the USA) which means that it'll cover about 8 miles a minute. Therefore, it takes just a little over 2 minutes to cover 20 miles.

You of course realize that this so-called "masterpiece" is nothing but a rant by Charlie, disguised as a FICTIONAL interview with Obama. So I don't see why it should have any more credibility than any other actor ranting about something they may or may not understand.

We have missile defense systems designed to locate and shoot down a missile before it hits. You better damn well belief we can shoot down a jet in less than 2 seconds, let alone 2 minutes. Especially if it is headed directly to the heart of the war machine, the pentagon, which is quite close to the white house.
