Does anyone else find posts like this incredibly annoying? You know which ones I mean... The ones that quote an entire paragraph from some ridiculous website, but instead of linking the related words, link the ENTIRE BLOODY PARAGRAPH. Honestly, what's so hard about applying the link tag to just one word instead of the whole thing? Is it just to make sure it's all blue and underlined, so no one will overlook it? And you know what's worse... When a link spans multiple paragraphs. A link is intended to be applied to a single word or a short phrase, not the entire post. Is the person just forgetting the closing "a" tag, or is this again just a desperate attempt to accent their posts when annoying colors just aren't enough? Seriously, it has to stop.

Proud to have finally moved to the A-Ark. Which one are you in? Author of Guardians of Xen (Sci-Fi/Fantasy novel)

Awwwwwww. But I wanna start linking things in stupidly long links too! Where's the fun in making links that aren't long, winding, annoyign diatribes filled with typing errors and ginormous made up words? I mean when they put a synopsis of the article (and ignore the majority of the stupid stuff that would prove their point wrong in this link) then it is so much easier to COMPLETELY IGNORE THE LINK!!![^] Remind me to upvote you more.

I often find that people who do things like that are a bit like the link that this points to.[^]

------------------------------------ In science, 'fact' can only mean 'confirmed to such a degree that it would be perverse to withhold provisional assent.' I suppose that apples might start to rise tomorrow, but the possibility does not merit equal time in physics classrooms. Stephen J Gould
