Anyone concerned about life on earth should take heart that ALL FIVE of the great Mass Extinctions occured with a FALLING sea level. So all the bollocks espoused by AGWists can be easily dismissed as unfounded and against historical precedent. A Falling sea level reduces continental shelf srea and that is the most abundant area for life. Rising sea levels actually increase the opportunities, and should be therefore praised. (Right, that should kick things off a bit) see here[^]

Wait, so global warming is GOOD! Great! Someone point CSS's mouth skyward, and let the hot air accumulate!

Well, that's pretty dumb, don't you think ? So if the most extreme claims were right, and the whole earth WAS going to be underwater, you're claiming that no extinctions would occur ?

You pay people to stomp on your nuts, repeatedly too? Not that I think there is a direct correlation, but... Okay, there is. Twice?!

I went once for my own interest b/c I'd done the rest, and once when I took my family there, for largely the same reasons.

Even if ALL the ice in the world melted, we would only lose about 2-3% of the land, and in fact places like Canada and Greenland would actually grow in size as they would rise without all the weight of the ice pushing down on them. (This is happening in the UK, the south is slowly sinking and Scotland rising as the ice that covered Britain in the last Ice Age has melted away and is allowing the country to level up to where it was before the Ice Age.)
