    Hi all i have sql 2005 installed on my m/c. i want to import txt file which just exported from SQL 2000. i am using Import/Export wizard but problem is while importing it will automatically change column size and it's datatype. means it varchar to nVarchar size 20 to 2000 then i have to go in advanced import option and correct datatype and size for all columns why this happens ??? where i am wrong ??? is there any setting ??? thanks in advance koolprasad2003

      Create the table first with the correct sizes, then import the text file into your table.
