Lord Christopher Monckton takes Green Peace to task on the many different levels of corruption, deceit, and true weather occurrences. He absolutely floors them, pay attention and you may learn too. As pointed out by a viewer, this vid just proves that it (Global Warming) is really a religion. Climatology the new world church (of the sheeple). http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KvufOvneJMk[^]

"There has been climate change, hasn't there, for 4 billion years?" "You tell me, I'm young!" Classic!

No, that was a supporter of Greenpeace. A member of the congregation, rather than a Bishop, if you will.

Quoth the oracle from his unplumbed well of ignorance. Let us have the result of your reading, your calculations, some original thought. Anyone can cut and paste - demonstrate whether you have any idea of the scientific method.

But Christopher Monckton is an anti AGW campaigner, he is not a climatologist, he is a politician. Have you checked any of the data from the scientific institutions or in the learned literature directly? As to 'least squares linear regression trend', is Monckton correct in using this methodology to massage a stochastic data set? If so, why? So my question is, why do you believe Monckton, or anybody else, without having checked - or, in your case, being able to understand - the data?

But, the data from University of Illinois and the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration, referenced by Monckton, is the result of studies by climatologists. So your statement is nonsense. But, then, aren't they all.

How dare you! You politely point out some minor fallacies in his argument, and request that he provides any kind of proof or back up, and then insist that he is merely believing in what he alone in the universe knows to be the truth! Some people would think that you were sceptical. You should know by now that although he has no qualifications in this subject, has undergone no formal scientific training and has no understanding of scientific procedure, his word is to be taken as holy writ. After all, with the depth of knowledge gleaned from watching you tube and wikipedia he will be far more knowledgable than anyone with any form of academic interest. Oh wait, hang on, I was forgetting, he is a twat! He has no degree in anything, is completely taken in by anyone who has posted a video and thinks the world is a giant conspiracy aimed solely at him. He is also a tosser and a prick, but to be fair, he does deliver the pizzas on time.

There is vast knowledge to be gathered from all the various youtubes out there. For instance, even though he delivers the pizzas on time there are other factors to consider: Just saying.[^] //L [edit]Fixed typo[/edit]

Wrong. Science has been the new religion, for a long time. What these videos show is that a lot of people use 'science' to defend their own views, instead of actual Science, which investigates facts and seeks to understand them.

What do you mean? Here I though business and money were the new religions. But then again, what isn't? If you worship and preach about how great technology is then isn't it a religion since it is your god. ;P /2
