It's a Trap! Hypothesis: CSS/PWP is a government counter-intelligence agent, planted among us to discredit all of the dangerous conspiracy theories. Basically, it's black propaganda, which for those of us intelligent enough to use a dictionary or encyclopedia, means the spread of misinformation, claiming to be from the enemy, in order to either discredit said enemy or redefine their viewpoints in the eyes of the public. CSS identifies himself as an anti-AGW advocate, loudly and incompetently fails to prove his position, and therefore convinces us that the position itself is wrong. In truth, only the advocate is completely wrong, and the position is neither proven nor disproven. Obviously, he's not going to advocate only the TRUE conspiracy theories, because that would be usable as an indicator. No, he has to advocate every possible theory, however true, false, or idiotic they may be. He'll start, for example, talking about how the moon landing was faked (Probably THE most idiotic conspiracy theory in existence) to establish his role as the village idiot, then make a similar argument in favor of some other conspiracy that actually IS true. Since we already consider him to be incompetent, the theory loses credibility, and the secret is preserved. So how do you fight this black propaganda? How do you determine which theories are true and which are false? You have to disregard his posts completely, since nothing he says can be trusted. But that's just no fun at all :) Disclaimer: No, I don't actually think CSS is a government spy. He's just incompetent. Funny to think about, though, isn't it?

That makes him a perfect government agent, right? In order to determine which are true and which are false, you completely disregard his opinions and idiotic ramblings and read up for yourself.

Ian, you have no proof. Cite your sources. Jeez, you'd think some people would learn. Watch CSS turn out to be the Green Job Czar. Think of this: He discredits the green movement, but doesn't really have an argument that holds water (I'm not saying I do either, I'm just stating facts). Then you guys call for evidence, and his evidence is your Mom. So the theory doesn't hold, and you think that the green movement is now viable. Green Job Czar ftw!

Strawman argument. I have never claimed that the moon landing was fake.

Man, you really ARE a black propaganda op! You're good at this! To further decrease credibility, you latch onto a hypothetical example and ignore everything else! Maybe it's true...
