Is there an easy to disable all externally triggered incoming traffic on a particular NIC. The problem is even though the NIC is in the "public network" there are dozens of incoming exceptions installed by default. It appears that Symantec Endpoint protection and others allow incoming connections even on public networks. I do not want that at all. Second question. I have a second nic that is detected as "public network" but has no ability in the network connections to change its type. I want to set this one as "private network" since it is a private fully trusted network with no external routing to the internet or even the company. How do I accomplish that?
