    I've just been told that the mixed animal version that I've put at least 60 hours in to, is not going to happen after all. It reminds me of the time I worked on a fisheries website to sell licenses. They lost all the Palm Pilots, the website never went live, and 3 years later, they came to our company and asked us to build basically the same system, I went into the meeting and said 'you have that already, we wrote it for you'. *sigh*

      I can beat that. The last set of visualization tools I wrote grew out of discussions with the acquisition editor for a major textbook publisher. The editor was totally into the concept, so we wrote a grant proposal, I spent 7 and a half months getting the prototypes through peer review with the MAA, 6 months of review by the author committee... and they decided not to use it. :mad: :confused: :sigh: [edit] Grammar fixes.
