Andrew Koenig - Walter's 41 year old son - has been missing since February 14th. Andrew Koenig was last seen on Valentine's Day, February 14, 2010, in Vancouver, British Columbia. Andrew Koenig never boarded his flight back to the US, on 2/16 and he hasn't been heard from since. Andrew was last seen at a bakery in the Stanley Park area of Vancouver. If you've seen Andrew since February 14th, PLEASE contact Detective Raymond Payette of the Vancouver PD at 604-717-2534. Andrew, best known as "Boner" from "Growing Pains", is a funny, caring, gifted and passionate multi-talented young man. Andrew performs at The Improv and is a camera operator for Never Not Funny, and has had roles in the movies NonSeNse, InAlienable, The Theory of Everything, Batman: Dead End, and on television in "Star Trek: Deep Space Nine", "G.I. Joe", "My Two Dads", "21 Jump Street", "My Sister Sam", and "Adam-12". He's edited over a dozen films and directed, produced, and written many others. Andrew has been an activist his entire life and most recently has been working on behalf of the people of Burma, and was arrested during the 2008 Rose Bowl parade for protesting American involvement in China's Olympics. Andrew was suffering from depression at the time of his disappearance. The last time the Koenigs heard from Andrew was February 9. His cell phone is turned off and the last time his phone received a text was on February 16 in Vancouver. The Koenigs plan to fly up to Vancouver in the next few days. Walter said of the Vancouver police and their efforts to find his son, "They have been kind, sensitive, generous and just extraordinary. Two of their investigators are wroking tirelessly today on their day off. They have been wonderful and I ask people to call the number from the Vancouver Police department... if you have any information." That police department number is 604-717-2534. In defense of any rumors that might surface in the future, Walter added, "So many times when these kinds of reports about behavior and habits come out, there are insinuations that are untrue. Andrew has no narcotic habit." While he greatly appreciates your thoughts, prayers, and encouragement... Please DO NOT contact Walter at this time unless it is an emergency.

Sucks... What else can I say? Don't get me wrong, I'm a big fan of Walter's work, particularly on Babylon 5, but I don't think this needs to be national news. Put it on the local news in and around Vancouver, where it's relevant. Hope they find him.

Proud to have finally moved to the A-Ark. Which one are you in?

It was an email, not news in the USA (not that I saw, at least). It may be news up there for all I know.

Ok, fair enough. I hadn't heard anything about it either, though I usually shy away from celebrity news (Honestly, I don't need to know about some Hollywood starlet's sex life, or what some actor had for breakfast this morning).

Nah, just ranting a bit... The tabloids annoy me. But yeah, this should be publicized in Vancouver. Crappy situation for the Koenig family. If I had a heart, it'd go out to them.

I'm a heartless bastard with as much emotion as the computer programs I write :) Mondays... Evil, evil Mondays... This weekend was great, but now... Ugh... So much work to do, but the brain is only about 10% powered up.

I have no idea why, but I went to bed about an hour and a half earlier than I normally do on a night before work, and I'm feeling great. I probably didn't need the coffee I got but i'm doing well. My thing is, I'm not looking forward to another damned snow storm. I just wish it were baseball season. Baseball = second greatest game in the the world. Zelda series = best games in the world.

Well, I think you're wrong on both counts. Zelda is definitely in the top ten, but not #1... And Baseball... Uh, at risk of seeming Un-American, I'm going to put that somewhere in the top 500... Maybe. Or maybe I just got sick of it after being at the '86 series, and never seeing the Mets win a pennant since :)

Well, I was out until 4:30am on Saturday night (Wow, haven't done that since college), woke up at 2pm on Sunday, and passed out around 1am Sunday night... Oddly, I'm in pretty good shape, energy-wise... But my brain just isn't good at Monday mornings, or for that matter, Tuesday mornings, Wednesday mornings, Thursday mornings, Friday mornings... Probably Saturday and Sunday mornings too, but I don't usually wake up until at least 11am on weekends... I miss the college days, when I could be almost nocturnal.

Hey, it's not unamerican to think anything, no matter what it is. But as a baseball fan, I have to say ouch. lol But yeah I hate hockey (but that's canadian I think anyway lol) As for the Mets, I'm a Red Sox man anyway so I couldn't care about the Mets at all, except for the fact that we both hate the Yankees. So we're allies, to some extent lol Have a good day sir.

I was watching game 6 of that series in a VFW bar in either Lawrence or Lowell, Mass (can't remember which). When the ball went through Buckner's legs I burst out laughing... and was lucky to get out of the place alive.
