I'm pretty sure there are like a gazillion of this around, but I wanted to make my own and feel important... After a kinda long wait I finally upgraded my Vista to Windows 7, I didn't feel that Vista was THAT bad, yes, kind of annoying but not that bad, I want to be very honest, I like Windows 7 more than Vista (so far), but still it's consuming the same amount of RAM and using the same amount of CPU time, even Windows 7 suggested an upgrade to my graphics card, when in Vista it was a good card. Yes, I've seen all the new Aero features, and all the enhancements, yes, they're great, but on your own words, why you hated Vista?, I love my Windows 7, but I could still be living with Vista, besides the GUI and more control on some features, I can think of Windows 7 as a Service Pack for Vista, or am I missing something here?

Upgrade to windows 2000. You will not believe how fast it is on modern HW. It is phenomenal!

          1. The UAC perpetually in your face. 1) The task bar is not like Windows 7 2) No 'window snap' feature in Vista 3) 'Remove a USB stick' in Vista with a Folder Explorer view showing the USB stick would result in an error under Vista, in Windows 7 it just closes the folder browser and ejects the USB stick. 4) Vista always asks me for permission to delete a bloody file on my machine (I'm sure this is better under W7) 5) Damn ugly sidebar 6) It's fatter and slower than Windows 7 There are lots lots more that I just can't think about at the moment. Vista sucks balls. I'm sorry, it just does. :)

He's a PC, and Windows 7 was his idea.
