Christian Cameron says nothing about lining deniers up in the street and shooting them. He wants a 'shoot out' at high noon with the deniers, i.e. a public debate. (Didn't you listen to the audio clip?)

I should know better than to trust CSS, but I had people here and didn't want to be listening to it, so I just read the article.

This is not entirely true. Only a deliberately skewed worldview would deny that the world is getting warmer. How much of that is our fault, is more open to discussion.

Evidence? And by evidence I mean independant, incontrovertible, peer reviewed, public domain and scientifically rigourous evidence. Actually I do not doubt climate change, we live on a dynamic planet in a chaotic universe, change is inevitable. I just don't want fairytales taken as truth.

That would indeed be hypocrisy, as part of said oath is 'I will not be ashamed to say "I know not"'. //L

We both know that is not true. The search in this forum is very flakey, if I could just search your posts, I'm sure I'd have no trouble finding ones where you posted about your desire to see the people you think are trying to control the world, killed.

CSS wouldn't kill a fly! He's way more into torture. I seem to remember something about a steel whip laced with jellyfish venom... EDIT: Wow, I actually found it. [^]

James Cameron (the avatar guy) talks about how he wants to line up all of the global warming deniers and shoot them in the street. He has extremist hatred and delusions of a mad man. This is the mindset that warmists possess, they are climate cultist with a desire to be wildly destructive on a global scale. http://www.thrfeed.com/2010/03/audio-james-cameron-slams-glenn-beck.html[^]

As has been pointed out, asking for a "shoot-out" is a common metaphor for requesting public debate. Next time, try actually READING your links, LISTENING to the audio, and pumping some of those pixels and speaker vibrations through that lump of flesh you call a brain. You failed us yet again, Pillowpants.

What do you expect from CSS??? the government in the attempt to control everyone have sent nanobots in the water, he's too busy finding evidence in the movie "When the earth stood still" to read or listen *whispers* I think I have seen the evidence

I want to die like my grandfather- asleep, not like the passengers in his car, screaming!

I think Glenn Beck and Alex Jones are behind a massive conspiracy to turn America's youth into mindless zombies... Pillowpants is just one of the thousands of victims already claimed by this epidemic.

I meant on the fact that Pro-climate changers are becoming increasingly hostile to people who ask for evidence or proof, rather than just falling at the feet of this particular belief. The trouble is every time they offer evidence it is proved unreliable, open to question, scientifically dubious, full of mis-interperated data or a downright lie.

Pro-AGWers? It is only sceptics who identify the unreliable, the open to question, and the scientifically dubious, who expose misinterpreted data and downright lies. It is only sceptics who wish to review the data and processes in order to test the AGW hypotheses. 'Deniers' require no proof, they do not understand the basic maths or physics, and are motivated solely by politics. They will use any contrary 'evidence' (whether valid or not - they cannot tell the difference) to rant against AGW. Many scientists (outside of 'The Team') accept that there is much more to be understood before climate science can be used to justify the massive undertakings proposed by the UN. To me, earthquakes pose a far more real and immediate threat than some supposed catastrophic scenario in 2100. There is no UN International Panel on Earthquake Mitigation, no Kyoto Agreement to finance the construction of quake-resistant architecture in 3rd world countries. Is that because such an Agreement could provide no new tax revenue stream for Government, and no Earthquake Credit trading for the Financial Sector? Or am I just an old cynic?

Yep ;P But you are right, we don't understand climatic sciences as much as the political elite think they do, and there is so much left to learn. Earthquakes, they and volcano's are known hazards. I'm waiting for the big one to go off - you know - the caldera at Yellowstone. I understand from the records, that event is somewhat overdue. That'll put climatic change into perspective.

Brilliant, thank you. What I could remember was too generic to find it with the limited search on these forums.
