No, angry at the government in Mexico City, Texans fought and won the Texas Revolution in 1835-36. Arizona, the Treaty of Guadalupe Hidalgo (1848), Mexico ceded to the U.S., together with many more territories. This treaty also specified that the U.S. pay Mexico the sum of US$15 million in compensation. The land does not belong to these illegals and MEChA La Raza scumbags. We whooped them before, we will whoop them again.

Angry, why ? The Alamo was the Mexican army trying to kick out invaders. You guys forget that.

Yes, that's right. Might is right, you were able to oppress them before and steal their land, now you can stop them from stealing it back.

As others keep pointing out, it's not that long since the US invaded Mexico and took half of it, for no good reason ( i.e. not because they were militant first, or threatened the US ). I call that payback.

Gee, if they take it back, who's going to hire your ass? I doubt they'll bother with an Aussie programmer.

Well, given how far north my parent company is, I suspect I am safe for a while. And, honestly, do you really think they can take it back ? But, in answer to your question, I have a contract which would need to be paid out if the company closed, and once that ends, I am seriously considering becoming a guitar teacher.

Hey, we were just stealing it to give back to the Indians. Really, are you just yanking his chain, or are whites the only ones who stole from the Indians (or Aborigines)?

Well, it's convenient at times to forget that the people we found, could well have displaced other peoples in the past. And, overall, I don't subscribe to the idea that we need to pay for the sins of our fathers. So, on the one hand, it IS true that the US waged a war of aggression to get Texas and California. On the other, yes, I do like to yank his chain.
