I'd say that conspiracy is just as credible as the UFO landing itself :)

Hey, that's what I figured. A little publicity, a little chutzpah and I should be able to build an entire tourist industry around it. Something to sustain me in my dotage, doncha know.

Your point is valid :) But that first part..? Ok, but then what is their excuse for evading almost every question about what they're up to? It may all be pointless sh*t, but then why don't they just prove it. That wouldn't actually hurt, would it. And the secrecy does hurt, PR wise at least. I guess my point is, their secrecy would only help them if the truth is worse than the lie. And they are not dumb people, so they know this.

Would answering the questions prove it? If they went on record saying "No, we're not talking about world domination," would people actually believe them? I mean, if the conspiracy theory WAS true (Hypothetically), they would lie about it anyway. So answering the questions does not suffice... What would constitute proof? Bringing a camera in there? I thought the entire point was to get away from the media for a little while... You know... A vacation.

I personally plan on researching the theory that the aliens that crashed in Roswell were actually on a mission to exhume and re-animate Billy the Kid. :-D

One does not have to be a published science fiction writer to recognize ONE HELL of a great sci-fi book plot when one sees it. I bet we could get this as a B-movie produced by SyFy.

If I have accidentally said something witty, smart, or correct, it is purely by mistake and I apologize for it.

Hey, I can contribute the odd concept (in more than one sense); all we need to do is get someone to write it. Let's see... who do we know... ;) :-D

Because no one would believe them, including myself. I don't doubt that at least some of them harbor delusions of grander schemes, but I figure enough of them don't have them, or have conflicting ones that they don't get much of anywhere. Now, if a leader was to pop up I may be concerned, but these aren't the kind of people who follow all to much.

Have you seen what they produce? If any of their recent movies are an indicator, this Billy The Kid, Alien Gunslinger has the makings of a total hit.

Actually, I have a confession. I'm actually the leader of the Bilderberg group. Me and Steve Jobs have been working in cahoots on this global domination thing for decades now. Steve's doing pretty well at it. He's got Disney in his back pocket, a mind control device in everyone elses back pocket, and soon phase 2 starts and we make the matrix.

Correct in one. It's kinda funny, I'd be more afraid of whoever it was who came out to 'prove' they weren't up to anything than the entire organization right now. Why? Because they most likely had to get the entire organization to agree with them to do it.

"The big question this time around is whether the euro will survive. “They are afraid that the countries in trouble will leave and the euro will fall apart,” said Mr Estulin. “The biggest nightmare is if EU members return to nationally orientated policies.” You really are illiterate, aren't you ? They are AFRAID, they are not DECIDING. Like all delusions, yours has some basis in truth. There is a Bilderberg group. They probably spend half their meeting laughing their asses off at conspiracy sites like the ones you are reading.

They spend half their time talking about how they will shut down alternative news sites and talk radio.
