You will see it if you believe it

Anyone else see the similarities between the recent discussions of conspiracy and religion?
Did the conspiracy people say that you need to believe it before you can see it ? I didn't say that, did someone else say that in the religious threads ?

Busy afternoon but he's a random quote of yours I approach the Bible with faith based on my experience. You approach it with a lack of respect borne from a desire to disprove it, so there's no wonder you don't want to spend the time to really understand it. So if whoever you were talking to had your 'faith' they would understand it. We can argue this all day but to be honest I'm not interested. I was interested to find out if others thought the comparison I was drawing between the way people present their religion here and the way people present conspiracy theories was valid. I dont expect for one moment that the conspiracy theorists or religious people amongst us will agree

If you mean by going out and actively looking for them, cherry picking your evidence and ignoring or deliberately mistating contradicting evidence, when refuted claiming that those who don't believe aren't open to believe or they couldn't possibly help themselves except to embrace said idea....then yes.
Once you agree to clans, tribes, governments...you've opted for socialism. The rest is just details.
