Yeah. Christian constantly criticises me for taking an extreme position, not that I always do, but I like ot go for the jugular, stating that GW itself does not. And yet here is a classic example of exactly the kind of extremist crap spouted by people ad nauseum in the name of GW. Even scientists do this too.

Yeah, there are nuts on either side... But to be fair... This guy is 95 years old. It's possible that he's not all there anymore... And the other guy they mentioned, Lovelock, is best known for his "Gaia hypothesis", which isn't widely accepted.

Proud to have finally moved to the A-Ark. Which one are you in?

I don't know if you are being deliberately obtuse or not. If everyone is dead, no one can collect the bet...

If I have accidentally said something witty, smart, or correct, it is purely by mistake and I apologize for it.

You're betting on the extinction of the human race. If you're right, the human race is still around in 100 years. If you're wrong, humanity is extinct, and willing the prize to his descendants is pointless. You need some caffeine, man...

WE humans are about to be wiped out in a few decades. The grandchildren of many of us will not live to old age. Hear it from Frank Fenner, emeritus professor of microbiology at the Australian National University and the man who helped eradicate smallpox. "Homo sapiens will become extinct, perhaps within 100 years," he told The Australian this week. [^] Which apparently fell on deaf ears so accustomed are we to hearing doommongers like this ranting away. As a scpetic to any one here who agrees, I'll take a $100 on this guy being wrong. Any takers?

Dances with Smurfs? Nah, I refuse to see that movie... I boycotted it because of excess advertising... Literally four Avatar commercials back-to-back... The movie, then the video game, then some sponsorship deal (I think it was Macdonalds), then the movie again.

That's an impressive amount of overkill. Yeesh. It was gorgeous though. substance = popcorn flick visuals = awesome. I wasn't expecting a movie that made me reach nirvana or anything, so it didn't let me down.

Maybe I'll see it when it hits basic cable... Censored, edited, and with commercials. Of course, karma will come back to bite me in the ass. I'll get my novels into the mainstream, have them made into a movie, and the studio will advertise them ten times as much, to the point where half of the country decides to boycott it.

You're betting on the extinction of the human race. If you're right, the human race is still around in 100 years. If you're wrong, humanity is extinct, and willing the prize to his descendants is pointless. You need some caffeine, man...
