If so, why are they divided on whether the government should protect rights of the individual instead of pushing an agenda as this Rasmussen poll indicates? Remember, most blacks voted for Obama because of his skin color. A) it seems to be about a 5% difference compared to your cherished white people. B) it could easily be chalked up to the Federal Government's intervention on their behalf after generations of oppression on the state and local levels. But it's also Rasmussen.

I suspect it has to do with the fact that the majority of those people care more about the free money that they get from the government than they do about individual liberty.

Well, they were trained at US base. All those bombings were a result of government staging events to grab more power. Look at the BP oil spill, for Obama, its all about cap & trade now. Cap & Trade will fix it. Obama gave BP an award not too long before the explosion, and guess what, BP is a major campaigner FOR Cap & Trade, they will benefit greatly from Cap & Trade. Hell, I've seen far more people who were either a step away from having to rely on the government, or already there, who would sit there and toss the same kind of crap you do around than I have of anyone with significant education or a decent job. The first country to start welfare was Germany, and it was indeed to stop the people from revolting. However, the motivation of most Western countries has been to care for those in need, something that was desperately needed under your beloved capitalistic system. Destroyed it? Stupidity did that, banking on a bubble never popping, throwing bonds around until they were blue in the face and didn't know what belonged to who? The government didn't play half the roll you'd like to think in this collapse, but perhaps if we actually taxed the fuckers along the same lines as we did in the 1950s we could start making real progress in accumulating a fund to pay off the debt as it comes up.
