Hell, yeah! It's Saturday! :-D (Although on second thought, cleaning bird cages and emptying kitty boxes doesn't sound all that exciting, does it.) :sigh:

with only 1 outcome: death. You can not win this game, so you might as well give up.

I'm not the one that thinks it's pointless to do so, so I'm not the one being a hypocrite.

Just because it's ultimately pointless doesn't mean that I should not do it.

No, see, that's contrary to your assertion that you 'might as well give up'. If you'd meant this then you would've said 'might as well NOT give up'.

It's not contrary - there is no difference in outcome between giving up and not giving up.

Believing in an afterlife because you want it to exist is just wishful thinking and doesn't make it true.

Giving up on life amounts to suicide. By getting out of bed, eating, posting here, you're implicitly stating that you believe that living and doing things is more desirable than not doing so.

WTF. That's why one should not smoke a bowl of herb. Or anything for that matter.

That would make sense, except that I'm being forced to do all those things - except posting here, I just did that because I have nothing better to do.

I have parents. Eating is easier than actively refusing to eat. I do that sometimes when I want to punish them, it's quite effective actually.

You say that because you don't believe in an afterlife. Once you believe in an afterlife, you will see how false that statement is. :) Best to discuss this with CG, I expect oblivion at the end of my journey (I don't see life as a game).
