with only 1 outcome: death. You can not win this game, so you might as well give up.

I'm not the one that thinks it's pointless to do so, so I'm not the one being a hypocrite.

Just because it's ultimately pointless doesn't mean that I should not do it.

No, see, that's contrary to your assertion that you 'might as well give up'. If you'd meant this then you would've said 'might as well NOT give up'.

It's not contrary - there is no difference in outcome between giving up and not giving up.

Giving up on life amounts to suicide. By getting out of bed, eating, posting here, you're implicitly stating that you believe that living and doing things is more desirable than not doing so.

That would make sense, except that I'm being forced to do all those things - except posting here, I just did that because I have nothing better to do.

I have parents. Eating is easier than actively refusing to eat. I do that sometimes when I want to punish them, it's quite effective actually.

You say that because you don't believe in an afterlife. Once you believe in an afterlife, you will see how false that statement is. :) Best to discuss this with CG, I expect oblivion at the end of my journey (I don't see life as a game).

Not more than usual. I found out about the futility of everything when I was about 4 or 5. It's a good thing really because I know I don't have to try - I can be as lazy as I want to.

No, what you did do is come up with an excuse to not accomplish anything. In your eyes you can now justifiably sit on your butt, become a looser and still in the end 'win' NOT because you accomplished anythign notable, but because you think you figured out the 'mystery'. You want to impress me Harold? Get up every morning at 6am and look at your self in the mirror. I mean REALLY look at your self, and then get ready to go to a job that pays your bills so that the rest of (apparently stupid folk) in society don't end up having too. Keep deciding that even though you are going to die someday, getting up and PARTICIPATING in life rather than just EXISTING is worth it. In other words Harold. Grow up. Piss moan and groan all you want, but do it on your own time and leave the rest of society out of it. If you have it 'all figured out' then why are you here? Just to extol your 'wisdom' on the rest of us? My bet is that this response was a complete waste of my time and you will come back with some 'one liner' witty retort that falls out of the loosely arranged file cabinet you call a mind, and then I may feel compelled to respond to you, and we may go back and forth a few times, but in the end, I will win. Why? Because I care, and you apparently don't. You have given up. Come back at me with something Harold. I dare you to wake up and THINK. Man oh man, there are SOME people who I would JUST LOVE to spend some time looking at their DNA.
