Get version no of installed software

Hi I made a setup of my project and installed it. Now using another application I want to fetch the version of the application installed. As we can see the version no of installed program in Program and features in control panel. Thanks in advance.

There might be another (easier way) but perhaps you could check the value of Display Version [or Version in the registry under HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall\{YOUR-PRODUCT-CODE}?
