Arrrgh!!! They have no shame, and frankly should all be shot to make this world a much better place to live. They really are little worms. Trying to get my deposit back - after 2 months. But the keep making escuses about not being able to contact the landlord in Dublin - in London, so now I've got to take them to court on his behalf to get a court order for them to release the money. I could really do with out this. :( They have admitted in writting that I should get the full deposit back, and the allegidly the landlord has sent his written approval twice, but it must have got lost in the post so they cannot release it. Have these people never heard of DHL? Scum scum scum scum scum. I fart in their general direction.

They used to much much worse than they are now. In the '80s they could basically tell all sorts of lies when selling properties - now they actually have to tell the truth (though they often take enormous liberties with the English language!). :-D :-D :-D

Yeah, like "Renovators dream" means "so run down you need ten years of DIY to fix it up", or "Cosy" which means "so small you will bump into yourself coming out of the bath", or "Located near to public transport" which means "situated on top of a rail way line." I just want a good piece of land. Then I can build my dream house :-D

They still have the golden getout clause on everything though. Had a friend who was buying a flat recently, and found out that the vendors did not own the garden they they said they did. And they estate agent said 'and your point is?'.:omg: They went ahead with it, but got quite a large chuck chopped of the price.

I still think we should start with lawyers.
