But just like Professor Schneider they fly and they fly and they fly. Often they will fly to conferences that come to the conclusion that others must not be allowed to fly." "Professor Schneider posed as an academic but hated tough questions and debate. As a small film production company we had to remove his interview from our film. When I tried to push him further at the Copenhagen Climate Conference—he called an armed security guard to have our cameras switched off." "Professor Stephen Schneider died at a relatively young age. He was just 65. Perhaps if he had lived longer he would have come to realize just how the ideology, he pretended was science, would have destroyed the lives and hopes of hundreds millions in the developing and developed world."

That may appear to be true if you watch Phelim McAleer's carefully edited video of the event[^]. However, if you watch the whole of the press conference[^] you will note that, at the end, in spite of his 'tough questioning', Mr. McAleer is safe and well, seated among the audience, no gun to his head. Dr. Schneider even lets him have a free copy of his book. I hold no brief for Schneider, but Phelim McAleer is just another Alex Jones.

I know, but after the press conference. He was not removed from the conference by armed guards for his question on data deletion. There is a spin to the McAleer video. E.G., he highlights the fact that an assistant attempts to take the microphone after he has asked his question. But this also happens to the only other questioner. It is usual in a short Q&A session, one question per person, to get the microphone quickly to the next questioner. BTW: I think Schneider handled it badly, the 'Michael Moore of the right' comment was unnecessary and antagonistic. A lengthy altercation when there were only 10 minutes for questions? Just answer the bloody question, and move on.
