By altering your ability to perceive things correctly? Isn't this poor reasoning: We are blessed to be experiencing conciousness, therefore we should interfere with this process by taking mind altering drugs. Additionally, blessed by what/whom?

Alcohol is a mind altering drug, and it occurs naturally, so not altering your perceptions is unnatural. Indeed, the endorphins released during and after sex alter your perceptions, although CSS would know nothing about this. Life is for living, not for obeying others ideas of morality. Provided you harm none then enjoy.

I totally agree, I'm just questioning PWP's logic, that's all. He keeps coming up with conflicting statements, and I just want to see if he can come to terms with it, then resolve what he actually thinks. My favourite is his current adherence to a modified form of Marxism which he thinks as neo-conservative or some-such.

You have been brainwashed along with all the other religous sheeple, but that's totally OK, and yet you would accuse other people of being "sheeple brainwashed by their government" and consider that a Bad Thing. Amazing. There is a word for that: hypocrite. Have a nice eternity in hell, religionfag.

You either worship the government, belong to a cult. or are religious. There are no other choices.

Delivering your son is spiritual? It sounds very corporeal and biological to me, but I've never tried that

Hell's teeth, I have. Over the course of my life I have done Speed, Weed, LSD, Coke. All were truly excellent, don't let anyone tell you differently. The secret is to do them sparingly and not need to do them.

False dichotomy, or in this case "trichotomy". For example, it is possible to worship nothing. Additionally, it is possible to be religious and belong to a cult at the same time.

False dichotomy, or in this case "trichotomy". For example, it is possible to worship nothing. Additionally, it is possible to be religious and belong to a cult at the same time.

Yes it is, or at least it is possible to not worship anything, which is what I meant. I suppose it is also possible to worship nothing, the concept of Nirvana comes close to this as I understand it, but I could be wrong about this.

                                          1. Guidance != worship. 2) Everyone has something that guides them, so that is a non-statement isn't it? I try to let reason guide me, is that such a bad thing?
