False dichotomy, or in this case "trichotomy". For example, it is possible to worship nothing. Additionally, it is possible to be religious and belong to a cult at the same time.

No it is not. You belong to a group of people who have something that guides them.

Yes it is, or at least it is possible to not worship anything, which is what I meant. I suppose it is also possible to worship nothing, the concept of Nirvana comes close to this as I understand it, but I could be wrong about this.

          1. Guidance != worship. 2) Everyone has something that guides them, so that is a non-statement isn't it? I try to let reason guide me, is that such a bad thing?

Everybody is guided by reason, but reason isn't this absolute concrete binary concept. You need to understand some things before you can reason anything. I'm not saying drugs make you smarter or better, I'm just saying if you can handle it, and are willing to learn for the experience, you might unlock something that will bring new meaning and vibrance to your life, and I'm not talking about HPPD.

Pfft Ninja Party would be better. :) You'd never see them in session, that's how you'd know they were there.

You mean you are not a chimp with HPPD? Bang goes another theory.

Why would a great polymath such as yourself need to have new meaning and vibrancy brought to their life? Surely, only a mundane, servile, lackey, tired of his dreary round of menial chores would seek refuge in a drug induced fantasy life?

You either worship the government, belong to a cult. or are religious. There are no other choices.

As someone who has soundly never felt the compulsion to worship any given thing, went through the motions a few times to attempt to fit in, but never felt the need to do so, I'm going to tell you you're full of crap.

You are a hardcore government worshiper, possibly a climate cultist.

Really? So that's why I'm hardly involved in politics enough to know who I even agree with to vote for them? If anything you're obsessed with it. I see it as a tool, particularly a tool I'd rather not left in the hands of idiots. Nothing greater than humanity, just another product of it.
