http://www.infowars.com/h-r-5741-slave-bill-now-in-committee/[^] H.R. 5741 will give the president the authority “To require all persons in the United States between the ages of 18 and 42 to perform national service, either as a member of the uniformed services or in civilian service in furtherance of the national defense and homeland security, to authorize the induction of persons in the uniformed services during wartime to meet end-strength requirements of the uniformed services, and for other purposes.” Barely a year after introducing H.R. 1444, which was supposed to form a “Congressional Commission on Civic Service to study methods of improving and promoting volunteerism and national service, and for other purposes”, Congress has upped the ante. Anyone between 18 and 42 will be eligible for a two year commitment of civilian or military service. With more college graduates working for the fast food industry, a depression era unemployment rate and less people retiring; the government will have plenty of eligible able bodies to move into the slave ranks.

H.R 5741 echos Obama who asked Congress in Febuary 2009 to send him a bipartisan bill in the spirit of national service. His Chief of Staff Rahm Emanuel outlined a similar plan in his book The Plan. Times have changed. Tyranny is upon us, the sky is the limit. With all of the unemployed people, and a worsening depression nearing total collapse, there will be people begging for something to do for a meal and clothing, and maybe a little bit of petty power.

The Edward M. Kennedy Serve America Act (formally the Generations Invigorating Volunteerism and Education (GIVE) Act) authorizes a dramatic funding increase for AmeriCorps and other volunteer programs, and the creation of new programs for seniors and veterans. It establishes a goal of expanding from 75,000 government-supported volunteers to 250,000, and would increase education funding and establish a summer volunteer program for students, paying $500 (which would be applied to college costs) to high-school and middle-school student who participate. Yup, certainly looks like mandatory service to me.

You really do have difficulty in understanding anything written in English. Possibly it is your second language, speaking only 18th century Hessian German at home. Try reading it again. See the part I quoted, which refers to the bipartisan bill requested of Congress in February, 2009? (To help you, it is emboldened.)

Well that bill became law as: The Edward M. The spirit of that Act is voluntary national service. The spirit of H.R. 5471 is mandatory national service. So H.R. 5471 does not echo the Edward M. Kennedy Serve America Act. Hence: "Yup, certainly looks like mandatory service to me. ". Capisce? Comprende, imbécil?

It doesn't match his distorted memory, why would he believe it just because it's what every recorded instance of the GIVE Act's wording is stated as. The media is all hiding don't you get it! That's why no one reported on this, it has nothing to do with an idiot from the 15th district of NY proposing something that only he votes for, it's totally tyranny of the highest caliber! Like, really. There you go captain, filled in for you.

one more failure... don't you get tired?? at least try, please, show us you are actually trying!!! and I hope this bill passes, so that way you will have to serve your country for one year (at least), you talk about how patriotic you are, but when it comes to do some civilian service you forget everything you said, this confirms that you were lucky to be born in the US, but you're not a true american. Btw, is it true that you're using food stamps?

I want to die like my grandfather- asleep, not like the passengers in his car, screaming!

I suppose I should have spelt it out for him. After all, there were two bills in the quote: HR 5741 and that of February 2009. So either I was providing the Title of bill H.R. 5741 or that of February 2009. Given that the Title of H.R. 5741 is in the body text of his original post, it was perfectly reasonable (for him) to suppose that I had tried to find the Title of H.R. 5741. It was understandable that he did not recognise the Title quoted as being that of the bill of February, 2009. He knows so little of what he posts. On second thoughts, the role of draught excluder might be beyond him.
