You are not going to believe this, I still don't... I was chatting to David (of the Wulff variety) and he mentioned that he was listening to SBNLive, a UK radio station. It was the late show and they have spot competitions where the DJ mentions an object and you have to send a link to a picture of it. So for a laugh I waited for the next comp. and sent in a link. It was a link to a fresh water crocodile. The next thing I know this pommy northerner is announcing that I won...:laugh::laugh: First thing I have ever won on radio and it happens through a refferal by David Wulff via an online radio stream from the UK at 3 in the morning. Life is truly grand!

2 questions. 1. What did you win ( was it a DVD burner ? ) 2. Do you have to collect the prize in person ? But they emailed back, asked for the address and said they would pop it in the post. The DJ even announced I was from SA, so they do know :-D (they also accused David and I of running a radio competition scam ring seeing as David has won many times before)

I won the same thing, a copy of Skint[^] about ten minutes before Paul won his, but for my image of an African Jackal. There is, as of writing, one more compo tonight, so fire up google images and get ready... :)

At first I thought you'd won nothing ( skint meaning to have no money ). I am pretty sure the DJ knows about it as he seems pretty web savvy. The odd thing is that my radio broadcast was 30 seconds delayed (buffering on WMP), plus I was sending the email from SA, yet I still beat all the other contestants... I reckon he saw the South Africa bit and chose me based on that. Add a bit of international flavour, shaken, not stirred
