It'd have worked better than the ads they showed when I was a kid. A more or less direct quote from myself as a child, "You mean if I'm on drugs I get to smash the crap out of things with a pan?". Certain campaigns were less than successful. Personally I still have a hard time figuring out how someone can be willing to shell out the money for some of the crap out there. Shit, a book, 5-10 bucks, 25 for a hard cover, compared to 25 bucks for, well pretty much any garden variety substance. One of these two things is going to last you longer, and leave you with something interesting other than the scrawled notes you could have sworn were funny.

well, you have Captain Pillow Pants as an example, who thinks that doing drugs helps him get inspired and also thinks they open his mind. I've never done drugs and I have done way more things than him in my life.
