Sorry, major projects, a family event that turned things upside down, and a flood have sort of made me vanish. I'll still not show up much for a bit, but I might lurk occasionally. So aside from far too many AGW posts from someone that hasn't seen 3 once in a century floods in 20 years and record heat waves this year, anything fun? Please tell me someone brought up the mosque stupidity in NYC used to draw attention from Republicans voting to deny first responders to 911, Wikileaks being a CIA plant and some other good ones.

If I have accidentally said something witty, smart, or correct, it is purely by mistake and I apologize for it.

But with the Eid (end of Ramadan) falling on Sept 11 this year, I can only imagine the escalated amount of hate crime by ignorant haters thats going to take place.

The mosque is just sand kicked in the face of all of America.

And every time someone says that they're pissing a little bit more on the freedoms granted by the constitution.

The "mosque" isn't even a mosque. It's a cultural center. And you know what? There's ALREADY a REAL mosque only FIVE BLOCKS from the WTC site. It's moved around a bit because of bigots like you, but it's been in the area since BEFORE the towers were BUILT. I'm so sick of people whining about it, just because some politicians told you to hate it.

No, it's a co-op move done by the people that did 9-11 to help put a smokescreen on the Republicans denying emergency crews from 9-11 medical treatment for stuff they are suffering today. And also it is a stupid thing to get angry about. Did the Petnagon immediately take the Mosque in the Pentagon out after 9-11? Nope. I'm going to side with the Daily show on this, it is just tacky. Like putting a Catholic Church next to a playground.

You forgot to mention there already is Islam at ground zero. http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20100819/ap_on_go_ot/us_mosque_fact_check[^] Muslim Americans died on 911 is that not relevant? Not to those who live on hate.

Nothing, just the usual stupidity and repetition.

Yep, I keep trying to explain that to people, but they've all been brainwashed by politics.

Obama and Palocy and the rest of them support the mosque for obvious reason, they hate America, and are destroying it, so why not add a little salt in the wounds.

I have a little tear in my eye listening to you so boldly proclaim that people should not have the freedom to worship as they choose, or assemble where they live. It's almost like you've never read the constitution at all, and consider your own views the one true American way, without pausing for a second to bother to understand the word freedom. If someone wanted to destroy America all they would have to do is wrap their plan in a suit and make it quote bible passages on TV.

Ok. Kinda figured it would be that way. Some things are somewhat comforting.
